Happy 80th Year Camp Allen!!

So much is happening this 80th year of service! Two new buildings are scheduled to open very soon: a maintenance garage that houses all the fire safety equipment, with a 3 bays and plenty of storage room! and a camper double bunkhouse with plenty of space for those campers who need more space for equipment. The bunkhouse is heated and airconditioned for year round use!!

Our fund raising continues as we will move into the next phase of improvements, renovation of Seabee and Ida, new pavillion, and a shower and bathhouse down near the pool.

Our staff team this year is amazing, with many counselors from the past returning for a second and third year. Our new chef is wonderful and the food is great! Michael and Eliza are assistant directors, assuring that the campers are all safe and having a great time! Chloe is the program director and the campers are doing lots of different activities; one of my faves are skits. Positively everyone is involved and the campers and counselors are loving it!! Tony is the lifeguard and pool director and is keeping everyone safe and cool. The Day Camp started with a bang and campers and staff are going home happy and exhausted each afternoon.

I can't forget to thank our fabulous nursing team! They are the best.
