Welcoming Emily DiRusso as Camp Allen NH’s New Camp Director

We’re excited to announce an important leadership update at Camp Allen New Hampshire! Please join us in congratulating Emily DiRusso on her new role as Camp Director.

Emily is no stranger to Camp Allen NH. During her five summers here previously as a counselor, she has become a familiar and trusted presence, known for her warmth, dedication and deep understanding of our mission. Her journey working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) began in high school and continued throughout college, where she served as a resident assistant supporting students with disabilities. That early experience ignited a passion that has only grown stronger and now finds its home at Camp Allen NH.

In her new role, Emily will oversee the day-to-day operations of camp, including program development, staff hiring and training and the overall camper experience. She is committed to upholding and enhancing the inclusive, supportive environment that makes Camp Allen NH so special. From morning activities to evening campfires, Emily will be at the heart of it all - ensuring that every camper, caregiver, family member and staff member feels safe and valued.
