Our History
Camp Allen NH has been creating life-changing summer experiences since 1931. Originally founded by the Boston Lions Club, and later joined by the Manchester Lions Club, the camp first welcomed young girls who were blind. Over the decades, our mission has grown to embrace children, teens and adults of all ages with developmental and/or physical disabilities.
What began as a small, focused initiative has blossomed into a thriving, inclusive community. Today, Camp Allen NH proudly serves over 600 campers each year through our day and overnight programs. Surrounded by the beauty of the great outdoors, campers enjoy a supportive environment where friendships bloom, personal growth is encouraged and unforgettable fun is always part of the journey.
